Funds are also used for a variety of needs leading up to an appointment like birth control, STI Testing, Transportation, Lodging, Childcare, Food, etc.
North Dakota has some of the strictest abortion restrictions in the country and is right across the border from Minnesota (where Wander Always is based). These restrictions disproportionately affect people in need so NDWIN Fund acts as a safety net for people who wouldn't otherwise be able to attain an abortion.
